Celeb Layout Tutorial (In 10 Easy Steps)

1. Make a new image. Mine is 400x400 with a white background. Use four ray brushes. It's okay if the rays go over the edge. Use a large feathered brush and earase the edges. It should look like so:

2. Make a new layer (shift+cntrl+n) Use asterisk brushes if you'd like. I'm using a ligt pink color, and then a dark black outer glow. It should look like so:

3. New Layer, use several "ink/paint" brushes.

4. new layer, usinga dark maroon color use "dotted lines" brushes.

5. new layer. Using a light pink color, use halftone brushes. Give these a black/gray outer glow and a white border and set the blending mode to softlight.

6. new layer. Using very light pink colors, use splatter brushes. Give these a white border and black/gray outer glow. set the blending mode to multiply or softlight. Whichever you prefer. I used two different layers of splatters. Try using more than one layer.

7. new layer. white border/black glow. light pink circles. blending mode softlight.

8. Use any other brushes you like. I'm using a splatter brush (non vector).

9. Now go to select, then select all. go to file-copy-copy merged. Then open new, and paste. Go to layer - duplicate layer. set the blending mode to screen. merge down (ctrl+e) then go to layer - duplicate layer again and set the blending mode to multiply. Then go to filter - sharpen -sharpen. Sharpen once or twice.

10. Use sparkles, add a text box, text, psd and credit and you're all set (:
